The suggested donation for onsite tours and virtual tours for groups is $5.00 per person.

Friday Living History is an open house format. Visitors can arrive anytime between 2:00 - 3:30pm.

Saturday Living History is an open house format. Visitors can arrive any time between 10:00am and 3:30pm.

Look for our Hands-On History activities on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays that take place at 11am and 2pm.

Civil War Sisters Tour

On the Civil War Sisters Tour visitors will learn how the Daughters and Sisters of Charity provided hope and aid in the midst of suffering and despair during the American Civil War. You will also receive a free Charity Afire Civil War book trilogy with your ticket!

Shrine Retreat Program

Book Club



Register below to join us for a six-week Seton Shrine Book Club. Registration is required to join this Book Club. The discussions will take place virtually via Zoom on Thursday evenings for six consecutive weeks. Participants will receive an email with link to connect to the discussions each week, as well as reminder emails on an as needed basis.

Your copy of the book will be mailed to you.  Book and Shipping is included in the $35 cost.

1. A computer/laptop/tablet/phone with a webcam, microphone, and internet connection

Academy Alive

Step back in time to the year 1818 to learn what life was like at St. Joseph's Academy during Mother Seton's time.

On the day of your visit, please go inside the Visitor Center to check in before encountering the interpreters at the historic homes.  

Recommended total visiting time at the Seton Shrine is at least 3 hours, not including mass attendance, gift shop, and the new museum.
