On the Civil War Sisters Tour visitors will learn how the Daughters and Sisters of Charity provided hope and aid in the midst of suffering and despair during the American Civil War. You will also receive a complimentary copy of Balm of Hope written by Sr. Betty Ann McNeil, DC which delves more deeply into the charisms of the Sisters and Daughters of Charity and what drove their efforts to respond to the human need caused by the war.
