Experience a special Basilica concert presented by Sister Alice Ann O’Neill, S.C., a Sister of Charity of Cincinnati, acclaimed professional cellist, and educator with a doctorate in performance and teaching. Joined by fellow professional musicians, Sister Alice Ann will explore the musical world of S.t Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton through a thoughtfully curated program of music and reflections.

While many know Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton as a wife, mother, widow, convert, and founder, this concert introduces another dimension of her life; that of a gifted pianist, devoted music lover, and teacher. The program features works she likely heard while living in New York between 1789 and 1808, interwoven with excerpts from her personal writings. Together, the music and her words offer a unique opportunity to reflect on the role music played in shaping her faith, spirituality, and daily life.
