Hands-On History: Carding Wool
Hands-On History is an opportunity to discover more about Mother Seton's time through activities, crafts, and games.
Every spring, sheep were shorn. Their wool trimmed off, sorted and then cleaned to prepare it for spinning. BUT there is one necessary step in the process of turning wool to thread! Come discover what the necessary step is and help us to prepare the wool for spinning!
